Sophistication with Rustic Appeal

We are so excited to show you our latest finished project, located in Auburn, AL.  We were fortunate enough to work with these sweet clients as their home was drawn on paper until we placed the last accessory.  We hope you enjoy these photos and look forward to showing you our next project soon!

Exterior

Beautiful Entry!

Den/Study

This room was designed with the husband in mind to be his "man room". We added hand painted wildlife murals to the cabinetry, a stone fireplace, and rustic wooden beams to bring in a masculine feel. The cowhide ottoman was the only request of the husband and stands as a focal point in the room.
We are generally not fans of using "deer parts" in a room, but we love how this composition turned out!

Living Area

Living Room area with vaulted ceiling detail. The ceiling is made of reclaimed barn wood, which brings warmth to such a large space.

Sunroom

The Sunroom was a request of the wife, who wanted a space for gathering and bible studies with bright pops of color to reflect her personality. We also incorporated two of her favorite pieces of art and brought in an interesting element with a brick ceiling (can you believe it's faux)!

Bed/Bath

Our clients only have granddaughters, so a sweet bedroom in pink was definitely on the agenda! The ribbons on the walls and ruffled pillows make this room so girly and we even incorporated a vintage highchair (not pictured) with a ballerina doll for playtime.
Colors and style finishes were chosen for this Jack and Jill bath to tie together the girl's and guest bedrooms.

We were able to feature one of our favorite artists in this guest bedroom, Cecelia Allee. Her work is both whimsical and traditional at the same time, what a great combination!
The back wall is painted faux brick! A beautiful touch to add texture!
When we found these great iron sculptures, we knew they would be perfect to frame out the window in the Master Bedroom. Using found, old objects in a creative way is such a fun part of our job!
Master Bath infused with cool colors and beautiful stone and tile!

Kitchen & Dining
Since our clients love to entertain, the kitchen opens off the living room and has a large island for serving their guests.

The clients wanted a dining space for their large family that encouraged everyone to easily converse, so a round table that sits eight was a must! The dining buffet was a unique european find, we love shopping antique markets! :)

Outdoor
This outdoor pavilion has many functions, a place to grill, a place to dine and a place to enjoy a cozy fire on a cool Alabama evening (those three we have each year :)
